It is the intent of the Town of Smyrna Finance Department to promote an open, free market competition when soliciting bids and/or proposals for the purpose of public procurement. Submitted bids shall be given fair and equal consideration and are uniformly solicited, evaluated and awarded on a non-discriminatory basis. The Town of Smyrna voluntarily complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET (MSDS)
Pursuant to Chapter No. 184, Public Acts of 2003, manufacturers of chemical products which are the subject of purchase contracts for the Town Of Smyrna shall list and maintain a material safety data sheet (MSDS) for such chemical products on the national MSDS search repository so that such information can be accessed by means of the Internet. For purposes of this MSDS requirement, the Town Of Smyrna recognizes the following national MSDS search repository: MSDS-SEARCH, which can be accessed on the Internet at http://www.msdssearch.com.
